Possibly, due to the influence of my brother as well as the Enid Blyton books I encountered in our annual spring cleaning exercise, I have started addressing my mum as 'Mother' and my dad as 'Father'. Very quintessentially English.
Mother has responded by addressing me as 'Daughter'.
Father, as usual, doesn't address me by any sort of name.
I wonder how long this will keep up for.
